New-Man Prostate Cancer Support

Practical help and support groups

We meet on the 2nd Wednesday of Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct and last Wednesday of Nov at 7.30 pm at St Andrews Church Hall, Preston, Weymouth, DT3 6BU. Our meetings are informal and friendly and provide the opportunity to meet others who have similar problems and experiences. We have guest speakers to keep you up to date with the latest news, treatments and ideas on Prostate Cancer. From time to time we run events to raise money to support our own group and other organisations associated with Prostate Cancer. We are not funded by the NHS, or other organisations, so we are a self help group and rely upon donations and fundraising for our on-going activities. We provide information and practical ideas, but do not give medical advice. We produce and distribute newsletters to members on a regular basis. We are active in promoting prostate cancer awareness in our local communities.
